Researchers in the Department of Psychiatry have established productive laboratories and collaborations across the campus, health region, the country and internationally. Investigators have been highly successful in securing funding from government, not-for-profit organizations and industry. These funds support the operating costs of ongoing research programs and facilities and provide salary support for highly skilled technical staff, as well as many of the independent investigators themselves.
